QUARTER WAVE TANK WHIP – £16.00The Roadking is probably the longest mobile antenna on the market. We do not advise leaving this attached to your vehicle while you are on the move but it is ideal for DX’ing. Split in half for easy storage.
It is also know as a Tank Whip and has standard 3/8 thread on the base.
The bottom half is quite thick and rigid and the top half is a “standard” whip as found on many mobile antennas. It slots into the bottom half and is secured with a grub screw.
Pre-tuned for CB channels (26-28MHz) but would cover 10m instead if you trim the whip.
Please note the antenna does not come with any mount or cable. It fits any standard 3/8 thread mount – but it must be a strong mount!
